What is the Crush?
CRUSH - CREATIVE RITUALS UNDER SOCIAL HARMONY - is a Denver based non-profit founded in 2010 focused on bringing museum quality art to the urban environment. CRUSH organizes its annual graffiti and street art event each September to completely transform the neighborhood with massive splashes of color. Coupled with this event, CRUSH also coordinates community outreach, acts as an artist support network, and engages local youth through educational programming.
WHEN IS CRUSH 2017?
CRUSH 2017 is September 11th through 17th.
Where will the Crush be?
CRUSH 2017 will be centered in the River North (RiNo) neighborhood of north Denver with the primary concentration of murals being painted along Larimer Street between Broadway and 39th Street as well as the alleys to the east and west of Larimer.
How much does it cost to attend?
CRUSH is a free, public event. Special programming during the week of CRUSH may be associated with admission fees. See our schedule page for full list of events.
WHAT DO I BRING / HOW DO I GET THERE?
Bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and sunscreen. Parking in RiNo can be tricky - use our Bus to Show transportation option to avoid parking hassles!
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW RE: THE FESTIVAL?
This festival is an urban exploration, not a guided tour. There are no street closures, and no tickets sold. Artists will be painting throughout the day/evening, and the public is invited to roam, and watch the walls go up! Please be sure to tag the artists if you post any photographs while at CRUSH.
How can I get involved?
Individuals interested in getting involved are encouraged to volunteer or donate. We also encourage you to support local businesses, and participate in RiNo business member events during the week of CRUSH.
